2013 UFE Results | Résultats de l'EFU de 2013

At long last, it’s UFE results days!

Candidates in Quebec will be receiving their UFE (EFU) results at 7pm tonight, the rest of you tomorrow. I think it’s a long standing tradition that most candidates awaiting (or receiving) results will be partying tonight – enjoy!

UFE Blog will be posting results related press and information as it pops up. Head below to find your results.

  1. Candidates in Prince Edward Island will also receive their marks at 5:00 PM today. Best of luck to everyone!

  2. UFE Blogger, any tips to relax the mind tonight?

    • Get out there and have fun. I know there are plenty of get togethers and parties organized so go take part in those or go out with some non-accounting friends and keep busy thinking about something else.. It’s the best way to keep your mind off things – keep busy and distract yourself. If you drink…that helps too but not everyone does so it’s optional 🙂

  3. I found out that I passed the UFE today, but I was one of those people who has been googling “I think I failed the UFE” for the past two months. I appreciate that you have this blog up, and also that I was able to read about other people who had the same feelings as me about failing.

    • Congratulations!! I’m happy to hear that you saw a good result today and that this blog had some play in helping you through this process. Believe me, a lot of people are in your shoes!

While of course not everyone gets good news – I think almost everyone can benefit from calming words.

Congrats again and be sure to celebrate this weekend!

  4. Does anybody know when the globe & mail publishes the list of successful candidates?

This blog is a great tool to have on the side while going through the exam process. Thank you for your efforts blogger.

  5. This may be a long shot, but similar to the last post, would anyone know where I can grab a copy of the Globe and Mail for LAST YEARS (2012) results?

  6. Thank you so much for your time and thoughts on this blog! I agree with the other Jamie – I was googling “failing the UFE” for the last three months (which basically ended up meaning reading and re-reading your UFE articles) – and on November 29 found out I was successful. It is so great to have a source written by people with experience and advice on how to get through it all! Really appreciate it!!

    • Congratulations Jamie! I’m happy to hear about your success!

I think most people have been there which is why I write about it. I think that when there’s a community which has been through the same thing it makes it easier on everyone to know they’re not alone.

Best wishes for a bright career ahead as a new CA (or CPA, CA..)

  7. Really appreciate every post on this blog! I read it on a daily basis! Thank you for everything Tom and Gus.

  8. The globe and mail will publish the names on December 6th in Ontario? please confirm

    • Just bought a copy and the results are not in there that I could see. Does anyone have any more information?

      • I have not been able to find a date anywhere about when the Globe & Mail or La Presse will be published. Typically it has been a MONTH or two after the results and has been indicated on results day. Last year it was in February.

I can say the CICA/rest are no publicising it much anymore (likely because of the CPA branding issue vs. pushing CA).

I will keep looking and update once I find anything.

  9. Does anybody have a link or can anybody let me know where and how I can get a copy (most importantly physical, but also electronic) of the articles in Globe and Mail and LaPresse with the names of those who passed the UFI in 2013 ??

It is really important or me and I tried everything to get my hands on the articles both in the Globe and Mail and in LaPresse, but to no avail…

Thanks in advance for all the help, it is very much appreciated

    Jacob Smith

I love open conversations. Casual is fine, professional is fine, but this is a community so anything abusive, demeaning or annoying will be removed at my discretion. Below is a guide to help keep you on the straight and narrow.

  1. 1. Use a name or alias. I understand wanting to keep your name personal, so make something clever up and stick to it. We can't tell each other apart if everybody is "Anon".
  2. 2. Remember the point. This is a community to discuss, debate and assist each other to pass the CFE or discuss other CPA things. Let's act like we're all the intelligent professionals that we are supposed to be.
  3. 3. No personal attacks. It's okay to disagree with opinions or advice but argue the point, not the person.
  4. 4. Don't be obnoxious. You should be proud if you are the next honour roll writer or work for a prestigious firm but don't be obnoxious by using it to feel better than others.
